THE GYM is proud to present “GYM SWEAT”, a very best of show featuring some of our most beloved sketches. We’ve been working out hard and we’ve collected the best sweat just for you! It’s the perfect opportunity to see what THE GYM is all about, or a chance to catch up on some of our favorite sketches! Congratulations to Gym member Josh Duvendeck, who will be starring in the upcoming  re-boot of ‘In Living Color’. So proud n’ sweat, baby.

The Gym is in love with love– so much so that we’re dedicating an entire show to Valentine’s Day. More information soon but save the date: February 13th, 2012.

Just a few updates from our members:

New member Ian Gary performed at the San Francisco Improv Festival in 2011. He also started teaching Improv at The Groundlings, won “Best Written Performance” with “Quote Unquote” at the Los Angeles Comedy Festival, and booked commercials for Denny’s, McDonald’s and AT&T. The spots with AT&T were done with Will Arnett and produced by the creator of Arrested Development.

Paul Benton completed a feature length screenplay had a reading on January 10th.

Dominic Burgess shot his Pilot Presentation of Savage Pandas, a sketch comedy show. The show features, amongst others, members of The Gym.

Cammy Brickell was cast as an Anchor in the feature film “40 Point Plan”.

Daniel Acker passed LAB (level 3) at The Groundlings School.

Chris Caldwell Eckert was nominated for a 2011 LA Broadway World Award, for his performance in Cabrillo Music Theatre’s production of ‘The Producers’.

Josh Duvendeck recently won the Winter Fresh Faces competition at the world famous Laugh Factory.

Congratulations to Gym member Patty Guggenheim, who was cast in the new Will Ferrell film, ‘Casa De Mi Padre.’

A huge congratulations to Chris Caldwell Eckert and Navaris Darson, for being the first Gym members invited into the prestigious Groundlings Sunday Company. Their first show with SunCo is on November 6th.

Gym members Chris Caldwell Eckert and Navaris Darson are in the middle of the Advanced level class at The Groundlings School of Improv. Their first show is on August 1st. More details soon.

The Gym is honored to announce that Patty Guggenheim has joined The Gym as it’s 16th member. Even bigger news: we finally have enough people to play fantasy Survivor. The tribe has spoken, and Patty is in.
